The signs of cheating in a relationship part 2

Welcome to the second part of our series which deals with the signs that someone is cheating on you. If you haven’t read the first installment then we recommend you do so before moving on any further. To read our first installment on the signs of cheating you will need to click here. If this is not the case with you then it is time to proceed with this chapter. As mentioned prior if you see two or more of these symptoms in your relationship then it is time to look to gather proof of infidelity.  Our article on how to catch a cheating spouse is usually a good place to start.

Below is the continuation of the list of the signs of infidelity from the previous chapter.

Change in routine: If your spouse or lover is up to something then chances are they will spend more time away from the home. He or she will probably use excuses such as working late or hanging with friends. This is to facilitate meeting with the outside person.

Loss of interest in doing things together or spending time together: This is common in an emotional affair where your cheating spouse’s priority lies more with the outside lover. In other words he or she would prefer to do things with this person than with you. It may also be a way for them to also reassure the outside lover nothing is going on within your relationship.

Sex becomes more physical than emotional: Sex has now become more of an obligation for them than something to enjoy with you. He or she may seem just to want to get it over with. There is also emotional distance and this generally occurs when the feelings for the other person is becoming stronger.

Less disposable Income: There is a cost to wine and dine someone and there is also a cost to meet them and hide an affair. Well watch out. You might even help fund your cheating spouse infidelity. It is more common for a lady to use their boyfriends or husbands money to fund their lover’s bills. So guys keep an eye out for these signs of cheating.

New friends and friends who you don’t know: Hanging with the boys or the girls is common today. However the boys or girls may have your partner’s lover in the midst. It is very easy to disguise a meeting with a love interest as a meeting with other friends. Beware of new friends especially when your partner say that the person went school together or worked together. This is typically the cover up used and it is linked quite a lot to the signs of a cheating girlfriend.

Caught Lying: You may catch your other half telling lies about their where abouts or what they are doing. Stories don’t seem to add up over a period of time.

Gifts out of the norm: Typically this is usually done by men who try to over compensate for their wrong doings because they feel guilty.

 Multiple email accounts or multiple social network accounts: This is commonly used by men who have a double life. They can use this to create multiple profiles on social networking sites such as facebook and hi5. So on one profile he or she is happily married and on the other profile single and ready to mingle.

Perfume or Cologne scent: This is one of the more obvious signs of cheating in a relationship. This may not be necessarily on the person or clothes but also in their vehicle. Strong perfumes are hard to rid.

Credit Card Charges or bills: Unexplained or unaccounted for purchases, such as things for the home which you have never seen before. Guys are often found out because they forget these things in their pockets.

Condoms or birth control use: Finding an empty condom rapper in the vicinity or birth control when you don’t use any is a big red flag.
